I raised a question task on your behalf to the development team requesting them to comment if there is any ongoing development work going on to resolve this. I have seen other posts on this so I know I am not the only user that has this issue. It would be awesome if that could be implemented in future updates. I have no trouble opening earlier version files with ArtCAM 2015 r2. Thus I have to open each file in 2015 and then re-save it and then open it in 2017.
Unfortunately with 2017 I cannot open files that were created in versions earlier than 2015. I reuse a lot of these files to create new things. This situation that I have is that I have been using ArtCAM for 15 years now and I have literally 10s of thousands of files for earlier projects. Is there any way we can get Development to look into making it possible to open ArtCAM files that were saved from versions of ArtCAM earlier than 2015?
